As an NYU Stern Business School grad, she sources her commitment and energy for her work from a combination of her education in several disciplines, diverse corporate experiences, passions, heritage, and her artistic and nerdy nature. As an NYU Stern Business School grad, she sources her commitment and energy for her work from a combination of her education in several disciplines, diverse corporate experiences, passions, heritage, and her artistic and nerdy nature. The motivation behind Murals for Good is to galvanize passionate NYers to engage in social activism through art for underserved communities.

A dedicated leader who celebrates talent, empowers teams, and inspires others to embrace challenges. Perceptive and elegant, she keeps a hand on the pulse of industry trends and social movements that shape demand.

Nick Savage, Art Consultant

Nick has 25 years of experience as a digital artist, retoucher, and digital photographer using an array of techniques such as photography, scanning, and digital creation for capturing and designing imagery. He heads up Maharam Digital Projects as a digital artist, consultant, and liaison to artists, collaborators, and clients. He is our art director in charge of artist outreach and management.

Ben L was born and raised in NYC Chinatown.  He is a passionate photographer and street art advocate.   He founded and ran the East Village Wall Project to help beautify the Lower East Side and Chinatown streetscapes.  He works with many street artists and regularly participates in international street art festivals (since 2016).

Sammy has 25 years of experience as graphic designer/illustrator in book publishing. In response to anti-Asian hate, he was able to quickly combine his professional life as artist and personal life as a martial artist to serve the community. He co-founded Team Self-Defense NYC to help New Yorkers safely navigate their commutes and he has 

Sammy has 25 years of experience as graphic designer/illustrator in book publishing. In response to anti-Asian hate, he was able to quickly combine his professional life as artist and personal life as a martial artist to serve the community. He co-founded Team Self-Defense NYC to help New Yorkers safely navigate their commutes and he has created many pieces of art to amplify under represented A.A.P.I stories nation-wide. He is our art director in charge of murals for school, libraries and education.

Ian Chan is a former community liaison coordinating media and community outreach for former Council Member Margaret Chin’s office. He is our community, media, and city agency liaison in Chinatown.

Non (they/she) is a Brooklyn-based Japanese fool who tells truth wrapped in glittery wrapping paper and wants every day to be a disco. As a playwright/solo performer, she presented “N. Butterfly” at NYC SOLOCOM Festival and “The Bath Play” at New Ohio Theater’s Producers Club. They are the marketing director of Rat Queen Theatre Company a

Earl is a Sustainability Specialist working on decarbonizing buildings and the environment. He is responsible for researching and leading our project’s decarbonization and environmental sustainability effort.

Isaiah started as a young artist in the Murals for Good and Carnegie Hall NeON Arts program and is now a Murals for Good Solidarity Ambassador. He focuses on engaging youth in community work while building solidarity across underserved communities.

William has 15+ years of experience in the financial services industry.  He is in charge of our operational finance.

Denise Zheng, Community Engagement Director

Denise Zheng is a Ph.D. candidate in the Social Psychology program at Virginia Commonwealth University. She researches the impact of mindfulness on intergroup prosocial outcomes. She also works with the 1990 Institute to promote the education of Asian American history and experiences and U.S.- China relations.

Nina is a Rhode Island School of Design Design student, teaching assistant, and RISD public relations officer. She is responsible for creating branding, promotional materials, and logos that helped advance Murals for Good’s message of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Euny is a multi-skilled professional who is an experienced architect and draftsman with expertise in AutoCAD drafting and 3D Modeling. She is a creative designer with vast knowledge of graphic design, specializing in brand, print, and advertising design.
